My passion for the Olympic Games began in childhood. Like many families, we watched the Games together, and as a young competitive swimmer and gymnast, I admired the athletes' pursuit of excellence and the spirit that brings the world together through sport. I fell in love with the Olympic Movement more broadly when I wrote my master's thesis, The History of the Arts in the Olympic Games. Through researching the rich cultural history of the Games—from ancient times to 1996—I developed an intense curiosity and drive to experience more.
My first Olympic role was working on the 1996 Torch Relay, and from that moment, my path was set. I then worked for the 1998 Goodwill Games in New York City where I gained experience planning and executing a global, multi-sport event. I was hired by NBC Olympics in 2001—my dream job. My roles encompassed managing many global teams and functional areas including medical services, accreditation, HR operations, hospitality/VIP, ticketing, and merchandise & wardrobe. Over the next 14 years, I held a variety of positions within NBC Olympics and later Comcast.
After moving to Copenhagen in 2015, I continued my Olympic Games work through consulting engagements with Discovery/Eurosport and NBC Olympics. Below are the Olympic Games I have worked at during my career in various operational roles. As the Games continue to evolve, my commitment to the Olympic Movement remains strong—rooted in the values of Olympism (excellence, respect, and friendship) and in the belief that sport, culture, and education can be powerful forces to advance peace and human dignity.

“I first worked with Robin from 2003 - 2004 when I worked for the Athens Olympic Organising Committee and she oversaw accreditation for NBC Olympics — the largest and one of the most demanding broadcasters at the Games. She knew her group inside out and her requests came early, complete and correct, which meant problems were solved before they became problems.
